The Black Duck

The black duck…
Once upon a time, there were a black duck..
Every duck in her village was white, and she was the only black duck!!
She was wondering why she doesn’t have the same color….but she felt different, special, more beautiful, everyone had white feather, she had colored ones…she saw it very unique ...she enjoyed her life and her color….
She felt she is gifted and she loved all the others…however, the others didn’t like her bcoz she didn’t have the same color…they didn’t want to play with her….:“Hey, you!! …why u r different? Cant u have white feather like us? We won’t play with u unless u look like us…go change your color…you Have to be like us, white...then we can play”
The thing which was very bizarre is the white ducks never went to the water!! They were playing on the ground!!! Only on the ground!!.....
The black duck was very surprised by that!! “a duck is created to swim”!! Not to stay on the ground!!
She thought, “They might be afraid of the water!! But they are missing a lot…how can I help them??!!
So one day, she made a trick, she covered a small lake with tree leaves, and she dyed herself white , and she went to the group of white ducks:
” Hey girls, I’m now white like u all, can we now play??
They ducks were surprised but they agreed to play with her! since she had now the same” common” color, they trusted her and followed her to the place to play…and suddenly!!! OOooooopppsss….all the ducks fell in the hidden water!!!
The back duck thought she was helping them to live the normal life, and swim in the water, and enjoy its beauty, but….. all the “ white” ducks panicked!!…but obviously not because they couldn’t ….there is something else…..they all ran out of the water
and here comes the surprise…..
NONE of the ducks were really “White”!!!!!!!! There were yellow, red, green, gray..And even pink and purple!!!!!....they all were hiding their original color and painted themselves with white…!!!!!
Each duck was afraid to show her real self to the others….!!!!
